President Kim Changgil of the Korea Rural Economic Institute (KREI) concluded a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Italian Council for Agricultural Research and Economics (CREA) in Rome, Italy, on October 26 (Wednesday).
CREA is an institution which affects world agriculture including the EU, the OECD, and FAO as well as Italy's agri-food. With the signing of this MOU, KREI will enhance its international research capacity through joint studies and human exchanges.
On October 25 (Tuesday), President Kim Changgil and relevant researchers attended a meeting of the Global Club where directors of agriculture-related institutes discuss international cooperation concerning various fields such as the agricultural and food industries and the environment. President Kim chaired the session, "Cases of Applying New Methodologies of Policy Data Analysis," and the researchers made a related presentation.
