The Korea Rural Economic Institute (KREI) hosted an international workshop attended by KREI researchers and about 10 visitors from Laos, including Director General Sisomboun Ounavong of the International Cooperation Department of Laos's Ministry of Planning and Investment and Director General Bounthong Bouahom of the Lao National Agriculture and Forestry Research Institute (NAFRI) on Feb. 24 (Wed.) at KREI's medium conference room.
KREI's Center for International Agricultural Partnership made a presentation on the KAPEX (Korean Agricultural Policy Experiences for Food Security) program, after which the participants from the two institutions discussed the program and major plans for the two countries' agricultural cooperation.
