On June 24, the Korea Rural Economic Institute (KREI) invited Agriculture Minister Lee Dong-phil to a policy research meeting, and held a barley harvest event in the front yard of KREI’s main building as part of urban farming activities.
Minister Lee delivered a special lecture on “2015 Agricultural Policy Direction” to KREI researchers, and cut barley with staff in the institute’s front garden, sharing the significance of urban agriculture.
