The Korea Rural Economic Institute held an international workshop for sharing outcomes of the 2014 KAPEX (Korean Agricultural Policy Experiences for Food Security) program at the Sejong Hotel from 9 a.m. on October 22.
Eleven public officials from six countries (Cambodia, Laos, Viet Nam, Uganda, the Philippines, and Paraguay) and people in charge of ODA projects in domestic organizations attended the workshop, shared the results of the 2014 KAPEX program for Viet Nam and Uganda, and discussed ways to connect them with ODA projects in agriculture and forestry. The representatives of Cambodia and Laos, the target nations of the 2013 KAPEX program, also discussed performance management after the project. And people in charge from the Philippines and Paraguay, the 2015 program’s partners, listened to the debate on the process and fruit of the KAPEX program, thereby better understanding the project.
