The Korea Rural Economic Institute (KREI) had a research information exchange meeting with three visitors from Uruguay’s Bureau of Forest including Director Pedro Soust at the institute’s meeting room on October 20. The visiting party met KREI President Choi Sei-kyun and discussed research cooperation in the forest sector such as joint studies between KREI and the Uruguayan Bureau of Forest. The participants of the meeting also agreed on the necessity for various efforts and activities for the two countries’ mutual development in addition to research collaboration.
