Choi Sei-kyun, president of the Korea Rural Economic Institute (KREI), visited producing areas of highland Chinese cabbage in Taebaek, Gangwon-do on July 31, and inspected its growth situation. President Choi requested accurate predictions for the stable supply and demand of the cabbage including the demand during Chuseok holidays in September.
