The Korea Rural Economic Institute (KREI) and Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation (aT) jointly hosted a forum on September 3rd to discuss the basic direction and feasibility of a strategy to expand agro-food export.
At the opening ceremony, KREI President Choi Sei-Kyun called on the participants to make best use of the opportunity to share ideas on ways to expand agro-food export. Choi said that he will lay down a theoretical base for revitalizing agro-food export by reflecting various opinions expressed at the forum.
A number of presentations were delivered at the forum and the topics addressed were "the potential and strategy of expanding agro-food export in the Chinese market" by Jeon Hyoung-Jin of KREI, "aT's role for the expansion of agro-food export to China" by Baek Jin-Seok of aT's export planning team, and "the success factors in the export of banana-flavored milk" by Park Joong-Won of the overseas project management team at Binggrae.
