The Korea Rural Economic Institute and the Korean Association of Agricultural and Food Policy jointly held a thesis competition on August 21 for undergraduate students.
In the competition, which was held at Sunchon National University, a cash prize of seven million won in total was awarded to university teams that have presented outstanding theses with fresh ideas.
A total of 18 thesis papers were submitted and 9 teams passed the preliminary review to take part in the lively competition that was attended by more than 200 students and association members.
