An entrance ceremony of a policy training program for ten Cambodian government officials of the Ministry of Agriculture and related agencies was held on August 19 at the Korea Rural Economic Institute.
The training program, which is held as part of the agricultural policy consulting project KAPEX (Korean Agricultural Policy Experiences for Food Security), will run for two weeks on 'agricultural technology development and dissemination system.'
The training program, much of which is devoted to technologies for rice production and dissemination of rice varieties, aims to strengthen the Cambodian government's capacity to develop and implement policies for the development and dissemination of agricultural technologies.
