On August 30, the KREI held an international symposium with the theme of " Strategies for Reduce Fine Dust and Odor in Agriculture" at the KREI conference room.
During the event, Dr. Tomoko Yasuda from Japan's National Institute of Agro-Environmental Sciences presented on "Ammonia and Odor Management in the Japanese Livestock Industry," Dr. Chen Chun-Wei from Taiwan's Council of Agriculture discussed "Policies and Implications for Reducing Fine Dust in Taiwan Agriculture," Dr. Jeong Hak-kyun from KREI talked about "Policies and Improvement Directions for Reducing Fine Dust in Korean Agriculture," and Professor Alan Matthews from Trinity College in Ireland shared insights on "EU Policies for Reducing Fine Dust in Agriculture." Additionally, Dr. Hosten Robert from Wageningen University & Research in the Netherlands presented on "Fine Dust Reduction in Dutch Livestock Farming."
