The Korea Rural Economic Institute (KREI)’s Center for International Agricultural Partnership announced that its invitational training program for 20 public officials of the Kyrgyz Ministry of Agriculture and local governments proceeded successfully for seven days from May 7 to 14.

The Center has carried out rural development policy consulting for the Integrated Rural Development Project in the Kyrgyz Republic since last June.

The Center provided domestic experts’ lectures on the development history of Korea’s fruit industry, trends in the fruit industry and related research, the roles and operation of fruit cooperatives, etc. Also, the training program included field trips to various institutions related to the development of the Korean fruit industry and interviews with people in charge.
