The Center for International Agricultural Partnership of the Korea Rural Economic Institute conducted invitational training of the Korean Agricultural Policy Experiences for Food Security (KAPEX) program for five researchers and public officials of the Regional Development Department of Cambodia’s Ministry of Rural Development for five days from February 20 to 24.
The theme of this KAPEX program was “Rural Community Economic Development through Capacity Building and Integrated Farming Promotion in Cambodia.”
During the training, the Cambodian public officials learned about the technologies and case of Korea’s integrated crop-livestock farming system, established policies and action plans for Cambodia’s agricultural and rural development, and made presentations on them.
