The Korea Rural Economic Institute (KREI) on January 2 held a kick-off meeting for 2023 in KREI’s main conference room.
KREI President Kim Hongsang, in his New Year’s address, expressed his gratitude to the staff who did their best to actively respond to major issues and agendas last year despite difficult conditions.
That day, new department heads received certificates of appointment, and government awards were given. The following prizes were awarded: outstanding employee citations; a presidential citation; citations from the Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs; a citation from the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy; and citations from the Chairperson of the National Research Council for Economics, Humanities and Social Sciences.
