The Korea Rural Economic Institute (KREI) and the Korean Society of Gerontological Social Welfare (KSGSW) held a forum on “Rural Care and Senior Welfare” in the KREI Seminar Room on November 3.
The following presentations were made that day: “The Outlook for Social Farming, Rural Community Welfare, and Social Innovation” by KREI research director Kim Jeongseop; “Measures to Improve Long-term Care at Home Services for Rural Residents’ Aging in Place” by KREI research fellow Kim Surin; and “Resident-led Rural Integrated Community Care: Experiences of Janggok-myeon, Hongseong-gun, South Chungcheong Province” by Executive Secretary Shin Sohui of Social Cooperative Janggok Together. Discussion followed each presentation.
