The Korea Rural Economic Institute hosted the 2022 Forum for Research Achievements in Seoul on April 15, broadcast live through its online channel (youtube.com/kreipr).
KREI holds the annual forum to share its research achievements with policymakers, local communities, agricultural experts, and farmers. Through the 2022 session, the institute reviewed policy directions for agriculture and rural communities.
The forum was composed of presentations and discussions on five topics, including “healthy, safe food and food security,” “agricultural innovation through digital technology and low-carbon farming, ”rural revitalization through urban-rural balanced development.“ ”nurturing young agricultural workforce,“ and ”policy implementation for stable farming.“
