KREI completes KAPEX training online, providing lectures on agricultural policy to officials of emerging nations
The KREI Center for International Agricultural Partnership held online training for 77 public officials from the partners of the Korean Agricultural Policy Experiences for Food Security (KAPEX), including Vietnam, Cambodia, Mongolia, and Armenia.
The two-day online training from November 1 to December 31 presented special lectures on South Korea’s ODA models and relevant policies for program planning. Also, it covered practical talks concerning programs for each country to enhance trainees’ capabilities for policy planning and execution.
After attending various lectures, officials identified implications for their countries’ policy planning and wrote reports to suggest policies applicable to their countries.
The Center for International Agricultural Partnership has held KAPEX training since 2014. It has prepared the annual event online since 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
