The Agricultural Outlook Headquarters is reorganized as the Center for Agricultural Outlook as of July 1, 2021. The revamping is to raise the Center’s expertise and independence and strengthen its role and status as an agricultural observatory. The Center plans to shift its focus to actual surveys and hire new experts to collect data from producing areas. Moreover, it will set up a modeling team to raise capabilities for model designing and statistical analyzing to improve predictability. Through the revamping, the Center targets precise farming and science-based agricultural administration through advanced outlook.
