KREI to Cooperate in Research with Kyungpook National University


The Korea Rural Economic Institute (KREI, President Kim Changgil) on Dec. 4 concluded a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for industry-academic cooperation in education and research in the fields of agriculture and rural communities with Kyungpook National University (KNU, President Kim Sangdong) at KNU. 


Through this MOU, the two institutions decided to cooperate in surveys and research projects for the development of education and research in the fields of agriculture and rural communities; to jointly use educational and research facilities; to jointly hold academic seminars and share expertise for the development of education and research; and to cooperate in fostering and utilizing talent through an undergraduate internship program and so on.


KREI President Kim Changgil emphasized, “KREI and KNU’s convergence research will create bigger synergy beyond each other’s field, which will bring greater changes in Korean agriculture and rural areas.”
