Dr. Lim Youngah at KREI Elected Vice Chair of OECD JWPAE |
The Korea Rural Economic Institute (KREI, President Kim Changgil) announced that Dr. Lim Youngah at KREI was elected vice chair of the Joint Working Party on Agriculture and Environment (JWPAE) for 2019-20 at the 46th JWPAE meeting held at the OECD headquarters in Paris, France, Oct. 22-23, 2018.
The OECD JWPAE, established in 1993, is the Joint Working Party of the Committee for Agriculture and the Environment Policy Committee. The JWPAE has led discussions in the field of agriculture linked with the environment, including responses to climate change, water resources management, and green growth.
Dr. Lim received a Ph.D. in agricultural economics at Oregon State University, US, and is conducting research on climate change, agricultural water, and agri-environment at KREI.
