KREI Donated to and Volunteered at Child Welfare Facility
The Korea Rural Economic Institute (KREI) on October 1 visited Kumsungwon, a child welfare facility in Naju, Jeollanam-do, and donated approximately 700 books for children and adolescents and the money that KREI staff raised.
Members of “Donghaeng,” KREI’s volunteer group for labor-management cooperation, also visited the facility. The members including Branch Manager Lee Hyungwoo of the labor union cleaned up the environment near the children’s home, making a clean and pleasant space. The Donghaeng members will take the lead in various activities for contributing to the local community in the future too.
KREI also visited the Revival House, a social welfare facility, on September 18, and donated the money that KREI staff raised.
