KREI Appointed UW Prof. Kim Changjin as Overseas Adviser

The Korea Rural Economic Institute (KREI, President Kim Changgil) appointed Professor Kim Changjin at the University of Washington, US, the Korea-America Economic Association president, as its overseas adviser on July 23.

KREI makes efforts to strengthen its global capacity by appointing great overseas scholars and researchers at MOU partner institutions as overseas advisers, receiving information on the countries’ agricultural and major issues from them, building a database of research materials abroad, and reflecting them in research.

Professor Kim is expected to greatly contribute to KREI’s related research by giving advice on the field of econometrics, new research projects, and so on and providing the latest information.
