KREI-KAEA Essay Contest for Graduate Students Held

The Korea Rural Economic Institute (KREI) and the Korea Agricultural Economics Association (KAEA) jointly held an essay contest for graduate students at the Hidden Bay Hotel, Yeosu-si, Jeollanam-do, June 29.
The contest consisted of the presentations of the seven essays selected through preliminary screening, and the final screening. As a result, the top prize was awarded to one essay, the excellence award to two essays, and the exploration award to four essays.
Graduate student Jeong Jinyeong of Korea University won the first prize with an essay titled “A Real Option Study on Optimum Stockpile Sizes of Avian Influenza Vaccines Considering the Stochastic Process.”
