KREI News

The Korea Rural Economic Institute (KREI, President Kim Changgil) holds the 13th Forum for Agricultural Policy Research in North East Asia (FANEA) on “Improving Labor Force and Rural Welfare for Enhancing Competitiveness” with the Policy Research Institute of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (PRIMAFF) in Japan and the Institute of Agricultural Economics and Development (IAED) of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS) at Marine Hall, the Kensington Jeju Hotel, from 10 a.m. on May 31 (Thurs.).

The three institutes have operated and held FANEA since 2003 to exchange information and materials on agricultural and rural policies in Korea, China, and Japan and to promote academic activities. FANEA has dealt with common agricultural policy issues in Northeast Asia in depth, as well as agricultural policies in each of the three countries.

This year’s forum consists of Session 1 on “improving workforces for strengthening agricultural and rural competitiveness” and Session 2 on “rural welfare.” We would appreciate your interest.
