Purpose of Research
○This study aims to identify key barriers to the diffusion of climate-adaptation technologies and estimates the factors influencing farmers’ adoption intentions, with an emphasis on crop differences.

○ To do so, the study reviews changes in major climate indicators and related production conditions, examines trends in cultivated area, output, and production volatility for strawberries and tomatoes. The study also reviews the use of smart farm technologies and multi-trait varieties. Using field survey data and empirical adoption analyses, the study derives policy implications to support wider on-farm uptake.
