Purpose of Research
○This study examines patterns of farmland ownership and use by agricultural corporations in Korea, based on their management structures and operational characteristics, and aims to provide foundational evidence for policy discussion and formulation. Specifically, it addresses how agricultural corporations use farmland in their business activities and how they secure access to the land they need—through ownership, leasing, and other arrangements— while identifying key differences in farmland ownership and use between agricultural corporations and individual farm households.
