Purpose of Research
○ The food crisis has recently become more difficult to predict due to complex factors such as climate change, war, and disease, and the need to strengthen food security has emerged. Therefore, this study aims to create a food crisis scenario to respond to such crises and to make policy recommendations by establishing a food crisis response system. This study will continue for two years. This report is the first year of the study, which introduces the current status of food crises in Korea and the response policies, analyzes Korea's ability to respond to food crises, and presents the direction of Korea's food security policy by integrating the direction of establishing and operating a crisis response system through research on advanced cases abroad.
