Purpose of Research
○This study is part of a five-year research initiative (2023–2027) to identify and disseminate best practices for sustainable rural development. By conducting comprehensive and in-depth investigations of exemplary cases of rural revitalization, this study seeks to establish a database that can be applied in real-world contexts to validate, propose, and promote effective strategies for rural regeneration. In the second year of the study (2024), the focus was on conducting an in-depth analysis of rural regeneration activities and outcomes in the eight role model regions. This effort established a robust rural regeneration database and laid the groundwork for field application studies in subsequent project phases.
