Purpose of Research
○As demands for improvements in farmland market regulations continue to grow, it is crucial to understand the variations in farmland transactions across different regional contexts. This study examines the spatial distribution and characteristics of farmland transactions, especially in light of rising concerns about rural depopulation. We analyze the effectiveness of recent farmland regulations, particularly the changes made to the farmland law following the LH scandal, by comparing transaction volumes before and after the scandal in 2021.
