Purpose of Research
○Alternative foods are gaining attention for their potential to replace livestock products, with the global alternative food market expected to grow rapidly. This expansion may influence livestock consumption and have various effects on the livestock industry and related sectors. This study examines domestic and global trends and outlooks in the alternative food market, the development of products like cultured meat, consumer perceptions, and preferences for alternative foods versus conventional livestock products. It identifies both positive and negative aspects of alternative foods and assesses their impact on the domestic livestock industry, aiming to outline challenges and strategies for adaptation.
