Research Purpose
○This study identifies the current status and actual conditions of how agricultural product supply and demand information is created, managed, and utilized in the fields of observation, production, distribution at production sites, storage, wholesale markets, and distribution at consumer sites, which constitute the value chain of agricultural product supply and demand. In addition, it derives the characteristics and implications of the use of digital technology in agricultural product supply and demand in major overseas countries and suggests policy measures to effectively utilize digital technology to enhance domestic agricultural product supply and demand management. The specific research objectives are as follows: - First, it presents the concept of advanced agricultural product supply and demand management according to the development of digital technology and identifies the current status and challenges of the creation and management of supply and demand-related information of observation, production, distribution at production sites, storage and storage, wholesale markets, and distribution at consumer sites, which constitute the agricultural product supply and demand management value chain.
