Purpose of Research
○ While various policies are being implemented for the sustainability and future growth of agriculture, quantitative analysis of the actual impact of these policies on agricultural productivity is lacking. This study examines the growth and changes in Korean agriculture based on the analytical framework of agricultural productivity and analyzes the impact of farm characteristics such as capital accumulation and farmer age on agricultural productivity. To this end, we estimated the determinants of agricultural productivity and the impact of farm characteristics on agricultural productivity, and we suggested policy directions for improving agricultural productivity based on a quantitative analysis.
