Aglink model is a dynamic ex-anti simulation model and a demand-supply partial equilibrium model of the world agricultural sector. The model was developed by the OECD Secretariat in cooperation with member countries in 1993 and has been used to carry out the OECD world agricultural outlook and simulate for various policy analysis.
As this study will be carried out continuously year by year, the final aim is to build sufficient application capacity to analyses the world agriculture market in KREI(Korea Rural Economic Institute). The major research contents of this year are as follows.
In the 1st chapter, The research background, aims of this study, review of preceding researches and brief explanation of imported variables in Aglink model are introduced.
In the 2nd chapter, we reviewed on current status and outlook of demand-supply in the agricultural market among Korea, Japan and China and found several implications.
Additionally, In the 3rd chapter, we introduced and reviewed on Korean rice module structure and suggest a modified structure of Korean rice module. And In the 4th chapter, we compared the three national modules(Korea, Japan and China) and introduced the different points.
Finally, we suggested several points for more robust research.
