Global ODA Forum to Be Held

The Korea Rural Economic Institute (President: Kim Changgil) will hold a Global ODA (Official Development Assistance) Forum on the Present and Future of International Agricultural Development Projects and Strategies for Sustainability at Ruby Hall, The Shilla (Jung-gu, Seoul) from 10 a.m., April 4 (Tue.).

Organized by KREI and the Korea Agency of Education, Promotion and Information Service in Food, Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries and hosted by the Korean Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, this forum shares trends of international organizations’ and major donors’ agricultural and rural development projects, and discusses ways to manage performance for sustainable international projects. The event will also share experience of ICT-based international development cooperation projects in the agriculture and rural sector.

The forum consists of presentations and discussions by experts at home and abroad, including the UN Food and Agriculture Organization, the International Plant Protection Convention, the International Fund for Agricultural Development, the World Bank, the UN Development Programme, the Asian Development Bank, and Indonesia’s Ministry of Agriculture.
