 The Korea Rural Economic Institute (KREI) hosted an international seminar on “Korea-Uzbekistan Agricultural Products Processing and Export Cooperation” on November 13 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, as part of a research project that applies the Eurasia Initiative to the agricultural sector. This event aimed to present the direction for development by identifying issues in Uzbekistan's agricultural products processing and export sector and to seek various agricultural cooperation plans in the field, including the advancement of the agri-food processing business, the expansion of agro-food trade between the two countries, export of Korean agricultural inputs, and technical partnership. Through this seminar, KREI and Uzbekistan's related economic institute decided to conduct joint research for the development of the agricultural products processing and export sector in Uzbekistan. |
