The Korea Rural Economic Institute is currently holding a training program for eight government officials from Cambodia’s Ministry of Rural Development.
The training program, which began on November 26 for a two-week schedule, is being carried out as part of Cambodia’s project to map out strategies and policies for rural development.
In the training, lectures and discussions are scheduled on such subjects as changes in Korea’s rural villages and Korea’s experience in labor and rural development. The training participants are also scheduled to visit agriculture related organizations and the rural villages of Togomi in Hwacheon-gun and Gonggeun in Hoengseong-gun in Gangwon Province.
In the meantime, the Cambodian officials are scheduled to make presentations on Cambodia’s rural development and have time to assess the training curriculum.
