The Korea Rural Economic Institute (KREI) hosted the Essay Contest for Undergraduates and Graduate Students jointly with the Korea Agricultural Economics Association and the Korean Association of Agricultural and Food Policy at the Gyeongju Hilton Hotel on July 11.

About 300 students and interested parties from the associations and KREI attended this event. Ten teams of undergraduates made excellent presentations after the preliminary screening with keen competition among 21 essays submitted. Six teams of graduate students participated in the contest and did presentations.

In the final competition, one first-place team and two second-place teams were selected, and three graduate students teams and seven undergraduates teams won the exploration prize according to the standards of presentation skills, novelty, and the writing’s form, structure, and logic.
