The Korea Rural Economic Institute (KREI) provided a training program to fifteen public officials from Nepal on Korea's rural development strategies and application methods.
In the training, which lasted for two weeks from March 7th to 20th, lectures were made centering around Korea's rural development related theories, which covered economic development, rural development strategies and models, and case studies.
The Nepalese trainees, who visited Korea at the courtesy of the Korea International Cooperation Agency, also made field trips to Gangwon and Chungnam provinces to examine Korea's rural development sites.
